Assistants serve as the loving caregivers for L’Arche core members. In recent years, the number of assistants has increased to 29 as our core members age and require more one-on-one care.

Your investment in the Assistants Fund honors the commitment made to the core members by these dedicated men and women. We set the bar high because the needs of the core members always come first!

  • Compensation for Assistants (small salary, room, board and health insurance) is the single biggest expense in our budget – more than $500,000 per year.
  • Assistants are the biggest unfunded annual expense.
